For his birthday proper, mommy made fun breakfast pancakes topped with an animal candle I'd brought back from a recent trip to L.A. Happy birthday once more to Z! With his 5th birthday came Z's five year well check exam yesterday. Meh took him from camp (which he's continuing to enjoy - sadness that we're coming up towards the last week and a half!), and reported that he did really well with most of the exam, even with the light up the nose and ears (which he of course now has a bit of experience with).
The stats:
- Weight: 35 lbs (5-10 percentile)
- Height: 40.3" (10-25 percentile)
- BMI 14.3 (10-25 percentile)
Yes, his parents' height genes appear to perhaps be finally asserting themselves.
Each well check comes back with a "report card" from his doctor, and this one indicated that his next checkup visit doesn't have to be for 2 years -- definitely becoming a big boy when the doctor doesn't need to check in more frequently!
