He clearly adores/worships his brother, often echoing what he says or following him around the house -- sometimes following perhaps a bit too close?
I was home with the boys today (I've actually have gotten to spend a lot of good quality time with them in the past few weeks) and he continues to be particularly interested in emulating Z on the potty -- he'll frequently sit on one of the little training potties in the bathroom while Z occupies the, um, official one. Most of time he's fully clothed, but in the past few days he's frequently requested we help him remove his diaper. Yesterday Meh reported that he actually went a bit (she was so proud that she, er, left it for me to view). And today he wanted to sit on the big boy potty himself.
But he couldn't quite figure out how to climb up, and when he kept squatting next to the potty, I was starting to get a bit nervous. Still, trying to help him up led to more of the insistent "Owen do it" or "do it myself" that shows just how determined he is. Meanwhile, Z has now turned around and started to imitate O imitating him (!), hanging out in the bathroom on the tiny potty and reading his favorite potty books -- sotto voce, of course:
