"Will cruise for food" could be Zachary's new motto. After watching Zachary circle our living room ottoman repeatedly, only to stop as soon as she ran for the camera, Meh stumbled onto the idea to use food as an assistive device. A small pile of his favorite crunchy stars didn't do the trick (though as I'll get to in a moment, it may have just been the wrong direction for him to reach), but strategically placing a few individual stars around the circumference of the ottoman got him moving:
Does this video remind anyone else of Pac Man? Granted, no ghosts or power pellets yet, though perhaps Meh will make the game more interesting now that he's mastered the basics?
Incidentally, like the predictable Pac Man ghosts, Zachary has apparently only mastered cruising in one rotational direction: counterclockwise. He confirmed this today for Meh, when at the shopping mall, he made multiple orbits of a boat-shaped-thing in the play area, but again only in the counterclockwise direction.
