Make money in your sleep

It was bound to happen at some point - as I went to create our last post, I noticed a shiny new tab labelled "Monetize" had popped up in our blogging website. Yes, now you too can add targetted advertising to your blog readers. But if that isn't working out for professional news sources, why should it work for blogs with like two readers? Granted, there are plenty of blogs with enough hits that you'd think maybe some ad revenue would be possible, but you've got to wonder just how much money they're going to generate. For that matter, I'm wondering what kind of ads AdSense would serve up based on the contents of our blog. This may be worth the experiment just to see how confused and inappropriate the ads might be.
