Yesterday was Owen's well baby appointment back at the hospital's
postpartum center. It was somewhat surreal (and certainly a source of deja vu, as we'd visited this same post partum center with Zachary in tow 2.5 years ago) to be back 48 hours later, but everything was looking great and the staff had some good ideas for us. They also have a fabulous shop full of baby and new mommy paraphernalia, so Meh went to town while I watched Owen snoozing away in the snap n' go carseat. I got to overhear a few other parents checking their youngsters in, and there were no Owens (we've gotten many compliments on the name, as well as a few inquiries on its increasing popularity; fear not, it still isn't quite in the
top 50.)
It just so happened that we learned that earlier the same morning, Zachary's nanny J (whose son T is just about Zachary's age) had given birth at the same hospital - talk about close pairs of kids! Congrats to J and A on their new daughter!
