Whispering hush

One of Zachary's favorite bedtime rituals is the reading of a book - it's actually the last thing before his nighttime snack, but in many ways he seems to enjoy it even more! We've tried a few different books over the weeks, but the one he just can't get enough of is the classic Goodnight Moon. He particularly loves the color pages, which he paws and taps happily (and tries to turn forward or back to when the alternating black and white pages come into view). The squeaking sound as his hands push down the pages almost make me laugh every time, despite it being his 'mellow' time. I tried to capture a movie or two of it last night; he was hiccuping, but beyond that, he's always quiet and very focused on the book as mommy or daddy read it to him.
