The Little Prince Comes Home

After learning a few more exciting elements to our car seat and getting Meh and Zachary discharged from the hospital, we headed out onto the road. I think we hit every single light, but Zachary seemed to sleep through most of it unphased. (Meh, on the other hand, was feeling a little sick sitting next to him in the back - more of my crazy reckless driving I'm sure.)

Zachary arrived back home at around 1 pm this afternoon to a practically whole new house -- so many wonderful new toys, furniture items, clothing, and baby-related accessories for us (not him, at least yet!) to explore. It's of course so overwhelming (we've already had our first at-home, er, diaper adventure), but we're excited to be starting on this journey. Thanks again to all of our friends for their wonderful well wishes, and we promise to get back to each and every phone call and e-mail if and when Zachary decides to explore this thing called "napping". (He's still working on discovering that element of babyhood.)

Planning must commence now for his first doctor's appointment, some other unexciting but important paperwork, and the upcoming bris (is it tacky to do an Evite to a brit milah?). Will try to post more later, and get those pictures uploaded!

(That's Peter and Anna's Grammie)
Hope you are enjoying being back home. Remember that after the real grandmas have gone home, I want to come and hold little Zachary so his parents can take a nap!
